Community Service Hours

Students are able to earn a silver cord for graduation if they earn 20 hours of community service throughout their time at Weaver Middle School. Students can obtain the Community Service Log sheet by visiting the counseling office. Once the community service hours have been approved and signed off, students can turn in their log sheet to the counseling office where the community service hours will be recorded.

Some Examples of Community Services Hours are:

  • Beautifying our school campus

  • Helping set up for school dances or graduation

  • Organizing a canned food drive

  • Volunteering at a homeless shelter, church or public works program
