The Weaver Performing Arts Annual Gala - Winter Wonderland in the Sand will take place at the Merced Senior Community Center in downtown Merced on December 9th, 2023.
There will be a tri-tip and rigatoni dinner along with a dessert dash, no-host bar, auction items and entertainment provided by WPA students.

September is Attendance Awareness Month! School attendance is very important to your child's success. Missing 10%, or 2 days a month, over the course of the school year, can affect a student’s academic success. Our goal is to have each student maintain an attendance rate of 98% or better! We are here to help, please contact the school office if you have questions or need assistance with your child's attendance.
Weaver Middle School students will have the opportunity to join a variety of clubs beginning next week! Some offerings include Book Lunch Club, Gaming Lunch Club, and our newly formed Black Student Union, meeting after school. Students interested in starting a new club are encouraged to reach out to a teacher to help advise and support their club.

The Weaver Girls Varsity Volleyball Team earned a WIN this afternoon against McSwain School. Boys Soccer tied their game with a score of 6-6. Our JV Girls Volleyball gave great effort! Great game coaches and students!
In compliance with Education Code Sections 60119, 60421, and 60422, please be advised that the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Weaver Union School District (“District”), at a public hearing to be held on September 13, 2023, will determine whether all students in the Weaver Union School District have sufficient standards-aligned textbooks and instructional materials and whether the District is in compliance with all regulations regarding instructional materials per Education Code Section 60421.
The Board will adopt a resolution stating whether textbooks and instructional materials are sufficient, disclose in the Board resolution the percentage of students in each school who lack standards-aligned materials and if insufficiency exists, the reasons for the insufficiency. The resolution will also identify the remedy for any insufficiency that may exist.
The public hearing of the District on the matter will be held on September 13, 2023, and will begin at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter in the Pioneer Elementary School Multipurpose Room, located at 2950 E. Gerard Avenue, Merced, California 95341. These materials will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the District.
