Superintendent's Message

July 14, 2021

Dear Weaver Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Staff, and the Weaver Union School District administration, I would like to welcome you and your family to the 2022-2023 school year.  I am excited to welcome our students back for another year of our regular educational program.  This will be our second year back from the pandemic, and we are very happy to help our students accelerate their academic journey.

In addition, we look forward to the return of activities and events such as our Drama Department production, field trips, family events, extra-curricular activities, and other opportunities to gather together as a community.

This year we have dedicated additional resources to support your student’s emotional health and well-being as we know that safe, happy, and healthy students are more likely to achieve academically.

We have increased our support staff at each school site with additional counselors, psychologists, administrators, campus safety staff, and office support staff.  As we continue to grow, we have added classrooms to our Elementary Campuses as well.  Thank you for our continued support of our District and for entrusting Weaver with your child’s education.

Our mission continues to provide a strong foundation for each student to achieve their full potential.  We are committed to this mission.  You, as parents and guardians, have a significant role in this effort.  Together we make a strong team!  As a team member, we encourage you to be involved in your child’s education.  Please do not hesitate to get in touch with the schools.

John Curry, Superintendent
