Every year Pioneer Elementary School Librarian Sarah Smith enters a group of student projects into the Chowchilla-Madera County Fair. This year Pioneer entered art projects from Ms. Day's kindergarten class: (Aaron Her, Prim Stephens, Skylin Moua, Mia Mejia, Vianca Santiago-Flores, Mason Hauze, Lillie Ledsome, Camilla Rivera, Pablo Soto Haro, Camille Contreras, Orasio Orozco, Mary Lucio, Matteo Lemus-Castillo, Zarayi Peters, Nia Batts, Mia Her, Jatye Butler, Grace Galvan, Victor Flores) and Mrs. Johnson submitted two of her second graders' animal habitat dioramas (Mia Hunt and April Martinez). We had several animal habitats (Savannah Cantu, Aleena Aguirre, Adam Gutierrez, Jasleen Herrera, Melinda Bucio, Damian Martinez, and Yaeretzy Santana), as well as space dioramas (Lana Moua, Emely Haro-Santos, Rosia Thompson, Aleena Aguirre, Josiah Miller, Marcus Ramirez, and Melinda Bucio) submitted from Mrs. Mitchell's class. Finally, Mrs. Griselda Garcia sent us three California mission projects (Perla Rivera, Jayden Barajas, and Jose Alvarado). Each entry received a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbon. Congratulations to all of our students!
